After a disastrous start to the week winning only one of four games, Albany retrieved some pride by thrashing Bruce Rock by 160 runs at Charles Veryard Oval in North Perth.

The pair added 142 to put Albany on track, with Hagnhofer first man out for a well-compiled 67.
Tonkin went on to bat for the majority of the innings before being caught for 168.
Chad Hitchcock (28) also got amongst the runs.
Bruce Rock were never really in the hunt and consistently lost wickets to be dismissed for 171 in reply.

Albany’s number two team finished the week in second place in Division Two after winning three out of their five games.
