The event, the Lower Great Southern Ladies’ Golf Association foursomes championship, sponsored by the Weekender and Dyson Jones Wool, attracted 52 players.

Overall winners on the day were Sally Carey and Paula Reid from Kojonup, while runners-up were Eugenia Pearce and Carrie Henderson from Narpanup.

Gnowangerup’s Teressa Moore and Marg Gollan were the nett winners and Ev Gleason and Sue Bailey from Jerramungup were runners-up.
