MEMBERS of the West Coast Eagles descended on Mt Claremont’s McGillivray Oval last Tuesday for the Country Senior High School Carnival.
The players talked to many of the aspiring young footballers about training and travelling schedules and gave advice about the football talent pathway, nutrition, match-day preparation and post-game recovery.
Key position player and former Albany resident, Mitch Brown stopped to have a chat with ASHS students whilst games were under way.
Better known as Country Week, the carnival saw more than 2,500 students from 43 schools form 270 teams during the week-long sporting event which encompasses everything from netball and soccer to hockey and volleyball.
