LOCAL people will have the chance to take their concerns direct to WA Government Ministers when State Cabinet meets in Albany on Sunday, June 28.
Minister for Child Protection, Community Services, Seniors and Volunteering and Women’s Interests Robyn McSweeney urged people to lodge appointment requests.
“Unfortunately, not everyone who requests to see a certain Minister will be successful purely due to time constraints,” she said.
“However, I would encourage anyone who feels they have an issue that they would like heard by a Minister in the State Government to complete one of these request forms.”
The forms are available from Mrs McSweeney’s office at 12C The Link Centre, St Emilie Way.
New Nationals South West MLC Colin Holt will use the Cabinet visit to officially open his office at 12A The Link Centre.
Mr Holt was scheduled to make his maiden speech in Parliament yesterday.
He said he looked forward to meeting with people in the Great Southern.
“I’m keen to hear from local people about local issues. I want to look at how people in the region can be supported through Royalties for Regions,” he said.
