THE State Coroner’s inquest into the death of a former ASHS student concluded in Albany last Friday.

Seventeen-year-old Kieran Darraugh Watmore died at Albany Hospital on August 28, 2008, 13 hours after being admitted for a recurring bout of tonsillitis.

An initial post-mortem failed to determine the cause of Mr Watmore’s death.

State Coroner Alastair Hope will announce his findings and any recommendations next month.

Last month, in his record of investigation into the death of Vicki Margaret Greeuw, who died at Albany Hospital in May 2007, the coroner concluded her death was “preventable”.

Her said said her death arose by way of “misadventure”.
