Crop-duster fatality

19 Nov, 2009 10:04 AM
THE Australian Transport Safety Bureau will investigate the death of a crop-duster pilot near Kojonup yesterday morning.

A 38-year-old New Zealand man from Manjimup died when his Cessna A188B crashed just after 8am.

The crash happened on a farm on Broomehill Road approximately 11km south-east of Kojonup.

Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and Worksafe had been advised of the fatality.

It was the second crop-dusting fatality in the region in as many months.

A 44-year-old Perth pilot died at Wickepin last month.
