THE challenges and energy shocks that peak oil and climate change will bring to Albany will be discussed tomorrow night.
Peter Kenyon, a social entrepreneur and a community enthusiast, will discuss practical actions the Albany community can take to increase community resilience and reduce the local carbon footprint.
Mr Kenyon said he had worked with more than 1,000 communities throughout Australia and overseas over the past 18 years to facilitate fresh and creative ways to stimulate community and economic renewal.
He has been brought to Albany by the Albany Community Environment Centre, and will address their meeting between 7pm and 9pm at the Senior Citizens Centre.
The meeting will also discuss the on-going Albany Community Vision program.
