LOCAL organisers and volunteers are gearing up for the 2008 Albany Weekender Classic Motor Event over the June long weekend.
Everything is on schedule for the event which is again expected to attract hundreds of car enthusiasts to Albany from around the state for the traditional ‘round-the-houses’trials.

While the cars are the main attraction, Albany’s CBD will again come alive with plenty of entertainment provided by local bands and entertainers, and there will be static displays by car clubs.

Apex Drive will be closed to public traffic from 6am until 6pm on May 31.
