Cherished chariots on show

2/10/2008 9:08:00 AM
DESPITE Sunday’s unpredictable weather, local car enthusiasts refused to let the rain dampen their spirits.

The large crowds that turned out for the Albany Weekender-Auto 1 Show & Shine enjoyed a varied collection of vehicles from all eras.

Railways Football Club Oval provided an excellent venue for this year’s event, making it more enjoyable to walk around and gave exhibitors more space to display their cherished motors.

One of the day’s more unusual attractions turned out to be the Bogmonsters motorised settee, which added to the good-humoured atmosphere by trundling around the displays complete with couch potatoes.
