THE Corruption and Crime Commission will be in Albany from August 24 to 26.
The visit includes a public meeting headed by CCC Commissioner Len Roberts-Smith and a team of specialist officers as part of its Regional Outreach Program.
“The purpose of the Program is to provide an opportunity for public officers and members of the community to meet commission staff, to better understand the corruption risks in regional areas and have individual concerns addressed,” Mr Roberts-Smith said.
The community open forum is on Monday, August 24, from 5pm to 7pm at Dog Rock Function Centre. No reservations are necessary.
Mr Roberts-Smith will talk on corruption, information provided on how an actual commission investigation is conducted, and issues can be discussed with commission staff.
Public officers can contact the commission to book into sessions that cover misconduct prevention and conflicts of interest.
The Commissioner and CCC officers will visit a number of State and local government agencies to provide advice and guidance on corruption and misconduct resistant measures.
The commission will visit Katanning from August 26 to 27.
