A MAN charged over the death of his friend after a fight last year appeared in Albany Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
Derek Graham Loo appeared in the Albany Magistrate’s Court on a charge of unlawful assault causing death. The alleged assault occurred in Spencer Park on October 18, 2008.
Police allege Loo punched his friend Mark Fryer during a heated argument.
Police prosector Sergeant Ron Watkins said interviews with several children present at the time of the incident had now been completed.
Magistrate Elizabeth Hamilton adjourned the case until December 2.
